I'm Andy, owner, engineer and machinist. RCR is a Type 07 FFL & Class 02 SOT specializing in Precision Rifle training, barrel chambering, customization and assembly of performance firearms for competition, hunting or recreation.
I grew up in rural IL and it didn't take long to get a BB gun in my hands. That progressed to pellet guns and 22s, but never went much past that. In 2016, I was looking for a new hobby and decided to return back to my roots. I found PRS-style shooting competitions and have never looked back. I won my 1st match in 2018 and have brought home a few trophies a year ever since.

I really enjoy the science behind long-range ballistics, process experimentation, and the physical and mental exercise that comes with competition. Not to mention, spending time outside with some of the nicest people I've ever met. In 2020, I opened RCR to apply my experience as an Aerospace Engineer to create a local, dependable, high-quality gunsmithing alternative for the modern shooting competitor.
